Akom Surface Grinders are built with outstanding structural design and Extra Heavy Duty Base. The center of cross width and height is more as compared to any other Surface Grinders. The base is extra wide for no overhanging.
Our Surface Grinder’s carriage are perfectly grounded hand scrapped and matched Guide-ways. Longitudinal Slide moves in oil dip bath to ensure smooth, high long lasting accuracy. The Wheel Head is ultra-precision hardened Nitralloy Spindle (grease packed for long life) runs in antifriction bearings and directly driven by flange mounted motor (to eliminate any vibration) through flexible couplings.
The Vertical Central Hand Wheel dial is graduated in 0.01 mm and has flotting ‘Zero’ setting for convenience of the operator. The Micro Feed movement Knob allows 0.002 mm increment in Hand Feed.
